I grew up in the forests of Northern California, with a connection to the land and the water that gives it life. Our family walks would take us by a natural spring, surrounded by dense ferns and shaded by redwood, fir, and pine trees. Our drinking water came from an underground spring nearby. Because of this history, I have long thought that a sip of pure spring water tastes sweet.
After completing a PhD in Counseling Psychology, I found myself making a home and family in Central Pennsylvania. Creating a family also included the struggle and heartbreak of infertility. As with many providers in the field, this experience drew me to want to help others navigate the process.
My hope is to offer potential donors and intended parents an experience that is like that sip of spring water: refreshing, grounding, and providing you with an experience you feel reinvigorated by on your journey.
Dr. Diederich graduated summa cum laude from Scripps College in Claremont, California. She completed a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and her internship at Pennsylvania State University’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in University Park, Pennsylvania.
